About Us

From March through to October squad training takes place several nights a week (see the info page for the timetable) and we race most weekends from June to September, usually on Saturdays. Squad rowers must be keen to represent the club in races and be determined to improve their fitness and rowing technique. Our primary objective is to produce strong crews who can compete well at these events!

We also hold a club rowing nights where novices can learn to row before progressing through to the squad rowing and club rowers can enjoy the benefits of a row on our beautiful estuary. We currently have 4 Gigs – Brabyn built by Brian Nobbs (2010), Petroc (2004), Teazer (1988) and Dasher (1989)
